Shandford is an independent Home but is registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on a regular basis.
Since 1/4/09, CQC replaced CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspection).

Comments made by residents and families during recent inspections included:

The Home is managed and run by qualified staff.

We had an Unannounced Inspection on 22nd July 2008. We are delighted to report that we have been awarded a 3 star rating(excellent)which is the top rating.
