Visitors are welcome at any time, but it would be appreciated if they could avoid mealtimes. There is a seperate upstairs lounge where you can receive your visitors in more privacy if you wish.
If you need miscellaneous items to be bought for you, for example, tissues, sweets or toiletries, you can ask a member of staff. Also a member of the Ladies Committee visits weekly and will call round to ask if there is anything you would like.
All personal items of laundry will be washed on the premises. They will be collected and returned to your room.
Items that require dry cleaning will be sent to a dry cleaning service and the cost for this will be passed on for payment.
We have a hairdresser who visits on a fortnightly basis. She is able to do shampoos & sets, cuts, colours or perms if required.
You are most welcome to arrange for your own hairdresser to visit the Home or you can visit one of the local salons in the town if you wish.
You are very welcome to attend your own Church if you wish. Alternatively, Church Services are held in the Home on the third Wednesday of every month.
